My opinion on cheering for tanking/wins is that none of us will ever have any influence over the results of games, so what we hope for or don't hope for has no bearing on the result. If someone wants to cheer for losses but the team wins their way to the 15th pick, than who cares. Cheering or jeering has no influence on what happens so people can do what they want and have to deal with the result.

I cheered hard when Gaudreau scored and I loved every second of it. That's why I watch Flames' hockey; for moments like that. While they have been few and far in between this season, I enjoy it when it happens.

My hope and dream is the Flames' have 'figured it out' under Sutter and go on a good run. I've never been a fan of the "get to the playoffs and anything can happen" mentality. But if there is ONE single coach in NHL history who can actually put it off, it's D. Sutter. I still think they are out of it, but good to at least build a foundation for next season and get those players who are staying, get them used to it.
