I think it was the week or so before that, getting into the all star game by default.
But yes, after those two situations, he got pulled 3 times in the next month or so before Covid lockdown, and then the unmitigated disaster and one of the most painful experiences watching a player totally unprepared vs the Stars and handling every thing shot at him like a grenade while letting in 3 goals on 6 shots while being lucky it wasn’t more.
A nice guy but something in his on ice mental makeup needs work to be a full time starter or even a dependable backup, and the spotlight of Toronto will fix that or make it much worse.
Frustrated far too easily and then crumbles. This year, he continued the annoying trend of going down to early, and too low...was beaten far too often cleanly over the shoulder, though that started in the season the Carolina guy scored the lacrosse goal on him, but it’s gotten worse.
