Brain Rafalski
Kevin Hayes
Brandon Tanev (Chris was also a free agent but out of junior I think)

Nate Schmidt
Alex Iafallo
That's just off the top of my head. There are tons of others too. Signing a college free agent is no guarantee of success. Most, as with all prospects, won't make it. But it is a valid source of talent. You want your teams signing players. Just because one didn't work out doesn't mean you shouldn't care.
