I wonder if the Flames are just blowing smoke at this point. I know they probably aren't but maybe some teams are interested in players and the Flames are trying to squeeze them for a better return. Florida making all that cap space really makes you think; what do they need/want and who's available. Another C like Monahan would really help that team but at the same time some help in the bottom 6 from guys like Ryan and Bennett would be good too. On D they need help, Gio, Stone, and whoever else would help them with Ekblad out.

Hopefully by Monday, Daryl has said who he thinks should be here and who shouldn't. Start moving players out ASAP and think for the future.

**guessing the Flames actually trade a 3rd round pick Vertanen or something dumb.
