What's worst is stupid McDoodle signs for 8 years, why he didn't pull a Matthews or even shorter is beyond dumb.
At age 26 Matthews after earning almost $70 million will probably sign the biggest UFA contract in NHL history. McDoodle could have have been a UFA after next season.
