What nonsense, imo. If you take a trade for a 3rd on one player, and a GM offers a 3rd on a better player because you let that other player go for less than you thought, just say not to the next deal, FFS.

I kinda get what he was trying to do. At the time the Flames had a string of trades that seemed poor returns. So he was trying to raise that bar.
But for a team so poor from an asset POV if he could have got any pick from Cammy he should have.
