I understand your sentiments indeed. However, in my humble fan based opinion, if we swapped divisions with Buffalo, I am not so sure the Flames would fare any better in both points and stats. We are lucky to be in arguably the worst division in the league.
From a desirability, team construction, roster and prospects realm in addition to the results, the Flames are bottom 5-6 overall. So, let’s say for sake of argument Buffalo is 4th worst, we would be 5th.
