Granted, I don't know really how to evaluate players that came up through the U.S. National Development system, but including his time at Michigan, he only has 35 goals/83 points in 102 games. His last year with the development team, he was only 3rd on the team in scoring (the guy who led the team is tiny 5th rounder only 2 months older). I know they don't play a lot of games, but I would expect more for a top3 pick, and one that barely missed being draft eligible a few months ago.
Just not very exciting numbers.
