Brian Burke is a well respected hockey executive. I would wager he ends up in the Hall of Fame one day. He was hired by the Flames, in part, to help them identify management talent. Brad Treliving was his choice.

If the Flames fire Treliving (won't happen), who is helping them this time around? What hidden gem are they going to unearth? Do Murray Edwards, or any of the other owners, have the time or inclination to go through a recruitment process? It seems when they committed to Treliving, they intended to do so for quite a while. Like many well run organizations, stability is a defining factor.
