2018 - assault X2 (3 months in jail) assault causing bodily harm (4 months) assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest (1 month)
2019 - assault with a weapon causing bodily harm (failed to appear in court)
2020 - threatening to stab two city employees (6 months time served)
2021 - shouldn't have happened period

This is common. Almost every single person the police deal with have a conviction history like this. It's about time this starts getting more publicity because if you want to see why defunding the police is difficult, it's because this is a constant problem. Commit serious crimes, get out of jail and do it again.
We have serious societal problems with no solutions. The Seattle is Dying documentary has its detractors but it points to a lot of issues while at the same time offering some solutions. It's worth a watch.
