Feels like such a fluke season. I've watched him become unraveled for so many years that at 39 him figuring it out elicits an eyeroll and a boulder sized grain of salt.
I suspect in a playoff series the Leafs would light him up.
It seems like the more competitive he gets, the more prone he is to imploding, so I would bet on it happening then.
What a joke though. In a vacuum Markstrom really should be the better goalie. And yet even that has failed us somehow.
Its hard to comprehend. So I'll just call it a load of bs and move on.
I'm pretty done with this darkest timeline crap. Luckily I've tuned out for the most part and haven't watched a full game in a couple weeks. Will continue down the path to hopefully complete apathy.
