They have two elite, top 5 players in the league. That alone, will always be a tough task for this Flames team to overcome. Especially when we don’t have one game breaker. Our depth just isn’t enough to overcome it.
If our goalie played elite, like he has in the past, then sure. That would help. Not blaming him for this loss, but unfortunately the guy (smith) on the other side played an equally good game.
