I was thinking this isa bit like the RAsmus deal for Calgary. Locking up a young player for term. But there are a couple of differences.

Rasmus needed to continue to improve from where we was for the deal to be good value. Demko just really needs to keep playing as he is.

But Demko has less track record and goalies are crazy unpredictable.

There is a chance it could be a steal at a critical position.
