I dont want them to get a 2nd for Holtby, next year wont have much cap space anyway, an extra 3 million wont make the difference in anything, so I'd rather keep the 2nd and just wait till after next offseason, without giving up a 2nd, when they will have some space and the really bad contracts off the books
Seattle shouldn't care about helping vancouver though. They are going to take at least 3 goalies and they will need to meet the cap floor. If a 1 year 4m cap hit gets them a 2nd round pick, from team that wont have a great player to choose from that's unprotected anyway, they should take it and run, it helps them.
