I’m guessing Walker was let go cause he was making Toronto money, but I can’t help but see the missed opportunity to have a guy that worked in Calgary and Vancouver host a show broadcast to Calgary and Vancouver from 10-2 each day. He’s got a great connection to both places and his delivery of humour, sarcasm, strong minded and at times controversial takes coupled with his interest in MLB, NBA and NFL would have been a solid show to follow the morning show. So many tune out after the morning show ends and that may have kept a lot of people tuned in. The new 10-2 show will take a while to get its legs, but I just don’t see it evolving from its blandness.
