This will be a very long retool rebuild. The players, management are signed up to win now, but they need a full rebuild. A new GM is required, building through the draft is the only way to get out of this and you need to draft some pillars which requires to finish in the lottery. I bet you Ottawa, Detroit and maybe Buffalo are relevant before the Flames will be.
