Imagine a league where you can or can’t have the puck go in off a skate? No kicking motion or any of that garbage. It’s a can or a can’t. That goal to me was a kicking motion which should’ve been disallowed. But here we sit with grey area and a debate. If the NHL wants that to be a goal then get rid of the kicking motion rule and this grey area. It’s like soccer and the handball. If it hits your hand it’s done. No reason for debate.
