Sure, it's fun to rail against Poland and Hungary, but if you want to see a NATO member who is taking a page from the government of China, look no further than Turkey. Destabilizing the region, and supporting attacks against a weaker and marginalized people in the Armenians, while antagonizing historical enemies like the Greeks.
Our backyard is still a shadow compared to the problems in China.
If there is going to be Olympic participation, and I think that there will be, it should be an opportunity to really be loud and present about Canadian values and that we will support those values globally. Hope that the Americans follow.
