Three more women have filed lawsuits accusing Deshaun Watson of sexual assault, bringing the number of complaints against the Houston Texans quarterback to 19.

Another lawsuit could come soon, as the lawyer representing the women, Tony Buzbee, announced on Instagram Saturday that he had filed his 20th civil case against Watson. Buzbee has said his team would be submitting affidavits and evidence from “several women” to the Houston Police Department and Harris County District Attorney’s Office, but Watson doesn’t currently face criminal charges.

All but one of the 19 lawsuits currently viewable on the Harris County district clerk’s website involve plaintiffs who say they were contacted for massage appointments in 2020 and 2021. The other does not include a date in its complaint. Watson allegedly first made contact with most of the women via Instagram. One lawsuit posted Monday morning alleges “Watson is deleting Instagram messages, and contacting those who formally provided him massages, in an attempt to settle.”
