The concerns in Buffalo continue to grow and so the Sabres have made another trade. We've lost 6 games in a row at exactly the wrong time.

To PHO:
Phillipe Myers
Mathieu Joseph

To BUF:
Sami Vatanen
Fromage

I don't enjoy developing and sticking with a young player for years to then turn around and trade them for a vet but that's what I felt I had to do here. Joseph is having a decent year in Tampa and Myers could eventually be a strong middle pairing dman. Sucks to watch them leave.

We are very happy to bring in Sami Vatanen. He's the most offensively skilled defenseman on the team by a lot. Maybe this is the missing piece? A PP QB. Either way, we've decided to push our chips in and try to make a run at the cup.
