How many games does it take in your opinion before a slump in form becomes a drop in form?
Another 50? 100? 200? How long are you prepared to wait?
By this measure, Gio is still a Norris trophy defenceman too.
We really should have kept Jagr, guy had 1921 career points!
Troy Brower was a 20/20 guy for about 7 straight seasons, should have kept him too, he'd return to form eventually.

As a rule, you wait longer with 26 year old players than 32 year old ones, and 38 year old ones etc.
Monahan had 8 points in 10 playoff games, leading me to believe if he’d played 82, he probably would’ve Produced at least that down the stretch - making him a 56 point player at worst.
The guy is a career 0.75 PPG player. He’s at 0.65 this year. He was at 0.68 last year.
Yes the trend is concerning.
It doesn’t make him a garbage player - he’s a home grown talent who’s scored more goals than anyone in his draft, including MacKinnon.
That’s not nothing.
Trade him. Fine. I’m trading him in the package for Eichel.
But he’s a quality player who’s done as much as one could reasonably Ask from the 4th centre taken in 2013.
