Tanev is supposed to properly fill the role Hamonic did. And Tre paid Rasmus to to Brodie’s job, which he is not ready for now, and, being realistic, may never be.

In my opinion, the Avs beat the Flames the same way most teams were beating the Flames this season. Flames' over aggressive on their forecheck, left the neutral zone wide open for Colorado's quick counter attacks while on the defensive side, they dropped 2 back, kept tight gaps and they ate the Flames alive on turnovers.
Unfortunately, Bill Peters didn't adjust his tactics in time (at all actually) and the Flames were completely dominated in 5 games.
