If they blow it up (which I’m all for at this point) then they better do it right. No finishing 22nd-26th and drafting 6th or 7th overall all the time.

30th-32nd and get multiple top three picks. If you’re going to be bad actually be bad for once. Get a truly elite player. Get a MacKinnon or a McDavid. Get a Barkov. Be patient. I think this franchise is actually getting decent at drafting and developing depth players, now we just need a few elite pieces to round out the rest.

Drafting 6th overall all the time is not a recipe for success.
