I'm as disappointed with Gio this year as anyone, but it's hard to hate him for it. He's in the later years of his career and age caught up to his legs. He has one year on his contract, you don't strip the C off him for crying out loud, that's the dumbest thing I've read.
If you wanna talk about exposing him to Seattle and/or letting him go after this deal, sure, that's a conversation at least and I'm inclined to agree. What does removing the C accomplish other than making the team look bush league
