Team A is leading a game by a goal in a closely played contest where the officials have done a good job not calling a bunch of ticky tack penalties. In the last 5 minutes the officials call a ticky tack call out of nowhere on Team A putting Team B on the powerplay.
That's not getting caught up in the moment. That's game management and they are very consistent in doing this.

A little semantic but I’m not saying they are looking to make a call - they get emotionally biased towards one though. The thought process I described was not forefront - it was more subconscious. But it doesn’t matter - they should be resisting that urge.
