I proposed a similar deal a few weeks back where the Flames would move Gaudreau ($6.75) for Konecny and Frost ($6.363M) and the balance would be a 1st and a 3rd. This was of course before it looked like the Flames would be a lottery team. I still would like to some how snag Frost, but we would likely have to do something with the 1st to make it happen. Swap of 1st picks to even out? I don't know. This draft is not great, so it might be wise to take that gamble.
