Was Peters so toxic that the boys are still recovering?

I like the Sutter move and this team still has some great pieces. But its hard to have any optimism for this franchise right now.

They didn't have their confidence destroyed, they simply got exposed. They were a team that were having career highs from multiple players and built a huge cushion up in the first half of the season. Then when it mattered they showed what they really were. The fact that they were not a legit team was apparent and massive changes should have begun in that offseason. Our GM is enamored with his project so it didn't.
