I would think so yeah. If you’re purposefully kneeing someone you probably have your knee bent and are rigid prepared for the impact. If your leg isn’t braces to be struck it will hyperextend back.
When you see these collisions accidentally, I feel like it’s relatively often that A) neither are hurt or B) both are.
