I'd prefer if Calgary left others to the Eichel auction, and instead discussed a deal with Buffalo that sees Cozens and Hall come back this way. Buffalo's owners may be feeling the pressure to not only capitalize on the return for Eichel, but to turn their team's fortunes around ASAP. If so, Cozens doesn't quite help them yet, and Hall won't be sticking around anyway. The Flames have pieces that would help them immediately, and that would complement whatever big fish they land in their separate Eichel deal.
But who knows where Buffalo's collective head is at, and what their expectations are.

Does nobody want to play in Calgary??
If this is the case, why trade for anyone.
