Just a general comment about how lucky we are to have a man so thoughtful, cerebral and engrossed about hockey, guiding our team. Although behind the scenes I am sure the mood and delivery changes, there is no denying how intense and aware he is about the game and the roles the players have to at for this all to work. And, that the same level of intensity he has builds the trust in players to have them play about their perceived expectations and go through a wall to impress him and or prove that his criticism of that player is unwarranted.
For the first time in a while, possibly with the remarkable turnaround Peters got out of the team so quickly, since the early days of Bent Sutter, and then back to Darryl, do I trust the coach to get the best out of each player on this team because he is so aware of the details and how those interact with the bigger picture.
