Just because Johnny had his head down and didn't notice Holl doesn't make it a blind side hit. It wasn't from behind, Gaudreau left himself open for a solid open ice hit and Holl took the opportunity. No more of a blindside hit than the one Tkachuk had on Tavares imo.

His proximity to tbe boards is what makes it a dangerous hit. It has nothing to do with Gaudreau having his head down. How is it you have ignored this rather crucial point?
