Because in the two bad losses they threw in the towel in the third periods after a bad break. Funny enough the first half of both those terribad games they played the Oilers well. But they caved and let them run up the score. Pride definitely factors too much into those games lately.
There are less mental factors with the leafs and Habs and they go out and execute their game better as a result.
