okay, to be clear though, was it ownership that approved the firing and hiring, because I would think that is typical in the NHL. Or are you saying the ownership stepped in and hired Sutter, cutting Treliving out of the process?
If it is the latter, then I would think substantial changes to management are coming this offseason, and I question the wisdom in that decision. My bet is things will get worse before they get better. In most instances when change in management is made there is a period of transition where no immediate change is made while the new group 'see's what it has'. You might as well throw next season in the dumpster as well in this case. that would be 2 of 3 Sutter years waisted.
