If by engaging they mean they were so engaged waiting for anything interesting to happen and the movie to get good that they accidentally sat through the entire thing...
...yeah, hella engaging.
It's literally just the same quality of movie but longer. I can't say calling this "Snyder's vision" is any sort of compliment at this point.
