Yup. We're in the infancy stage of what he is instilling here.
The folding act won't disappear overnight. With each instance of adversity they'll have to work it out of their systems incrementally.
Sutter has said himself its about playing the right way most of all.
Rather than continuing to just play the right way, these guys developed a habit of looking at the scoreboard/whats happened and exert themselves accordingly.
In order to pull back into a game you have to continue plugging away doing the things that bring you success, and trust in it. And you can't let a bad bounce or bad call against you deter you from continuing to play that way.
Folding is not the answer, at any stage in the game or in any circumstance. It's a habit that is ingrained and will have to be worked out of them with time.
Going from quit to no-quit may take us into next season. Do people here have the patience for that? I hope so cause bigger picture is where the payoff will likely be.
