Might be just me but my belief is a top line center can carry the puck like it's a biscuit looking for a dog to feed not a hot potato burning his fingers.
Monahan does a great job at finding open areas and shooting the puck, in my world he should be on the wing using his size and shooting ability.

Aside from the recent 2-goal game against MTL, I haven't found Monahan's shot to be that good lately either. Players have been getting him the puck in the slot, but he's just not scoring like he has in past seasons. Not sure why.
