Feel bad for Krueger here - I thought he was a bit of a gem actually. Maybe it wasn't the right fit, or the right environment for him, but this should have happened sooner. I am sure Krueger will land back on his feet - if not the NHL, then back to European Football.
Buffalo has been a huge mess for a long time now. They are a poorly constructed team still, but they should have been better than this.
Don Granato is probably not going to change course here, so it will be interesting to see who they eventually hire, and how the players perform under him. Is Skinner that bad, or will he find new life now in Buffalo? That whole organization has some stink to it for too long now. I have usually liked the Sabres historically, but not this decade!
