While screwing around on the internet I found this ad. For those who aren't 100% sure, I checked and yes, the Green Anaconda are the great big ones - the heaviest snakes on the planet.
And just think, for less than some of you have paid for skates or basketball shoes, you can own it. Just think, in 15 years or so when it starts to weigh 3 or 400 lbs and is 20 feet long, you too can enjoy feeding it.
I've got nothing against those people who get exotic pets - in fact I kind of like seeing them now and again. Further, Burmese pythons are real neat when you see them at some sort of display or exhibition as part of an education forum. The thing is that those giant snakes are usually cared for by someone who knows their arse from a hole in the ground. I would have thought that price would have been some sort of deterrant on these, but wow, I guess not.
A giant anaconda, for sale in Canada, for cheap. Now I've seen everything.
oh, and for what it's worth, there are a tonne of animals on that site that are illegal in Alberta.
