They probably should have won that last game, but there were a few mitigating factors:
• It was the first game after Ward was fired, and the first game for interim HC Ryan Huska
• It was the Flames ninth game in 16 days, and seventh on the road
• It was Jacob Markstrom's first game after missing six with an injury.
