Not saying it's a bad play at all! Just saying from the 2-3 dumps that stuck out to me, he could have elected to carry it over the line, I did see a teammate entering the zone with him. It's just something I noticed that didn't result in regaining puck possession. (Albeit one rim the puck went out play.)
Just like the players, I myself need to adjust and give that line a chance to play that way. Just hard to see them as a chip/dump and chase line. I do prefer to see Monahan play this way, I think it actually will get him more engaged deep in the zone.
