I don't see why Seattle would take him - barring some unforeseen 'explosion' out of him under Darryl. It isn't to say that Bennett wouldn't be a decent add to most teams, but I don't see how they would pass on a defencemen from Calgary.
One of Giordano, Andersson, Tanev and Hanifin will be exposed (ignoring Kylington for the moment).
I won't get into which player should or shouldn't get exposed - that's an argument for another day as we see what the team looks like under Darryl, and how each defencemen looks like by then, and what (if any moves) Treliving makes between now and trade deadline day.
I just don't think Bennett has the value that any of the top 4 defencemen have. You can only protect 3 (well, you can also run 4-4, but I would say that's worse).
At this point in time, it would be a safe bet that the Flames are going to lose a defencemen, unless the roster changes.
