If the Flames don't keep running around in their own zones continuously and give so many odd man rushes, maybe they don't need to keep looking for "better" goalies every couple of years.

You might feel confident with Rittich as the starter but I'm not. As a backup? Sure. The Flames needed some stability in net and they got that signing Markstrom. There's no question now who is the guy.
Does that mean they don't have to improve other positions now? Of course not. But again, going out and getting a starting goalie isn't a bad thing.
