I think he does. And he has the talent to be a top 9 type of forward. Not just a 4th line enforcer.
I'm happy that they are using him in that way more this year too, in a more offensive role with more minutes and some PP time.
Last year he came in thinking he had to be an enforcer, got rocked in a fight, and lost most of the year of development because of it.
Much like his time in the USHL though he's taking a big step offensively in year two, which is great to see and he had really great production in the Slovak league before coming back over to the AHL as well.
