I didn’t see it that way. On his line, I thought both 13 and 27 had more energy and Gaudreau had a lot quicker stops and starts , and at least was very engaged. Monahan a few too many battleship turns which is especially deadly for the center of a line.
Gaudreau still a turnover machine but I’m starting to think some of that is due to the passengers on his line.
Monahan has been a non factor for quite a while now. His line can’t be trusted in a close game 5 on 5. We are long past the expiration of 13 and 23 as an effective pair.
