I have no idea where your original post is, but I would agree that speed is something that can be improved. Another player I would add is Brayden Point. It is not as apparent at the NHL level as he really seemed to put the work in after his draft year on skating in particular, but he made a real jump between 18-22 in terms of speed. I have watched the kid since first year Bantam, and while he was always the smartest player on the ice and had the best hands, his skating was the weak point comparing his speed from Bantam through junior with his peers. You watch him now and he can skate with or is better than 90% of the league.
