I don't disagree it should be asked, I just think there is a better way to do it without potentially putting the other guy on the defensive by basically pointing your finger at him already. It's a good thing Darryl has a high enough EQ to not lose his cool, and answered it pretty professionally. Again, just my opinion if you want to build future rapport with the person being interviewed.
