I agree.
I view a coaching change right now as one of the things that Treliving can manage. Hire a coach to be the first step towards righting the ship. Get that done, and then give that coach the remainder of the year to assess what is here and what is here beyond the trade deadline. Then start the overhaul (rebuild) in the off-season with the new coach already in place.
There’s no quick fix, but there’s no reason to not start fixing things now.
For me, it’s just time to turn the page. The longer they linger in this futility, the more damage will be done. You don’t want Valimaki/Tkachuk/Mangiapane (those being 3 examples of players to keep) playing in an environment like this any longer than they have to.
