I can’t stand barking dogs either. I am training my dog daily to not bark at everything, and we pay for behaviour consultants to teach us the best ways. It’s worked great. Effort. Make the effort. Buying a dog and just letting it be what it wants is dumb.

Also get pet insurance while you’re at it. Budget all these items into the pet budget, if you can’t afford it don’t get a dog.
