I like and support Treliving. Outside of a few UFA signings and a bad trade or two he has been mostly good.
Bringing Ward back was extremely puzzling and didn’t make sense to me.
I wasn’t sure coaching was the problem earlier in the year but watching more you can’t help but realize they aren’t generating enough high danger offensive opportunities and give the puck away to the opposition far to easily and often. They are dumping the puck when they don’t have anyone in a good position for retrieval, they pass and skate around the perimeter and lose it by shooting into blocked lanes or by being boxed out and losing possession. They aren’t moving the puck around and creating space with creativity or quickness and speed.
It’s painful to watch.
I dunno for sure what the answer is but I just hope something is done to make a change and spark the team.
