Ward then puts the fourth line out again for the first shift after the TV timeout. Effectively leaving the top line on the bench for roughly six minutes ensuring that they were cold before they went out again. Penalty taken all momentum lost and you can thank the coach for it.
Ward is an amateur

The coach is merely a symptom despite his inadequacy. These things have all been happening for years under this core. The lack of action and change has exasperated the situation to what we are seeing now. Treliving has no ability to react or pivot and that is a death sentance for a team with playoff aspirations every year. Any competent GM would have made changes in the off-season before wasting another year hoping for a different result. Did anyone really think things would be improved this year? Maybe not this bad but the room for error was immense by not making significant changes to such a stagnant core.
What is this team even supposed to be anyway? The list of everything they’re not far outweighs what they are? That initself oozes failure from the gm.
